Gratitude to Italian Veternarians

For more than ten years now Italian veterinarians have been involved in the cattle farm of Hanga Abbey. With their help several dairy cattle have been bought to increase milk production for the villagers and monks. Particularly these Italians wanted to have dairy cattles for the children at kindergarten at St. Laurent school. Indeed it has been a success. Currently the children get fresh milk every day. Besides donating money to buy the dairy cattles the Italians have been coming to the abbey farm to provide their time and expertise in taking care of the cattles and other animals. Recently, in January two of them, Mr. Arcangelo and Mr. Massimo, were there for the work. We thank them and all who have been responsible in getting these cattles.

In the photos before St. Pirmin’s Hostel the day they departed for Italy after staying at Hanga for a month or so.

Below find some of the cattles that were bought by the Italians.
